Arrive at the Delhi International Airport. After clearing the immigration formalities, meet our tour representative (holding the placard of your name), who will transfer you to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit the narrow bustling backstreets of the walled city of Old Delhi, earlier known as “Shahjahanabad”. Visit the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. Take a stroll through the Mughal era bazaars (marketplace) of Chandni Chowk. Drive past the red sandstone walled historical Red Fort. Later, proceed for a tour in New Delhi. Drive past India Gate, the "Arc-de-Triomphe” of India that stands tall like an archway in the middle of a crossroad commemorating the Indian soldiers who laid their lives in the World War I & the Afghan Wars. Around 80,000 names of the soldiers have been inscribed on the walls of the India Gate. Drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the President of India that was earlier known as the Viceroy's House. Later visit the Qutub Minar built in the year 1206 by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. This world heritage site is the tallest (72m) brick minaret in the world, an important example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. Later, transfer to the Safdarjung Railway Station to board the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels. You will be welcomed traditionally in the train with Aarti and Garlands, and served with a refreshing welcome drink. After check in, you will be escorted to your respective cabins. Post breakfast, on-board and on arrival in Jaipur, you’ll be welcome by caparisoned elephants and traditional Rajasthani folk music to the tunes of "Shehnai". Later, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Amber Fort, a marvelous example of the Rajputana architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflecting in the Maota Lake below. The fort is built in white marble and red sandstone and the interiors present a soothing and warm ambience. Enjoy an elephant ride while ascending the fort. Visit the Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds. . It has a pyramid-shaped facade with five stories and 953 small windows decorated with tiny latticework. The air circulation through the windows represents the marvelous touch of Mughal designing, which keeps the palace cool. Later visit the City Palace Museum where you can see an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal Arts. The Museum showcases a collection of royal robes, pricey carpets, a huge collection of antique armory of old weapons and miniature paintings that portray battle scenes. Later visit the Jantar Mantar the largest stone astronomical observatory in the world. The observatory has fourteen statistical instruments for measuring time, predicting eclipses and to ascertain other astronomical events. Enjoy dinner on board. Arrive at Bharatpur. Visit the Keoladeo Ghana National Park in Bharatpur that is one of the finest bird sanctuaries in India. Get a chance to witness over three hundred species of migratory birds that fly from parts as distant lands of Siberia and China. Later enjoy breakfast on board. Later, arrive at Agra the iconic city of the two UNESCO world heritage monuments the Taj Mahal & Agra Fort, situated on the banks of the River Yamuna. The city has a vibrant culture, rich architecture and art & religious philosophies that have enriched mankind & shaped human thoughts over centuries. Agra is famous for handicrafts products such as inlay work on marble, leather work, footwear, brass-wear, carpets, jewelry, zari & embroidery work. Visit the Agra Fort located on the banks of the river Yamuna. This massive red-sandstone fort was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565. Visit the symbol of love, the Taj Mahal that is listed among the Seven Wonders of the World, built in the fond memory of Emperor Shah Jahan’s beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. The monument took almost 22 years to build and was completed in 1653. Around 20,000 workers from all over the country and Central Asia were recruited to build this symbol of love.
