Head to the Kathmandu Durbar Square located opposite the royal King palace of Kathmandu. The construction of various royal palaces at this site dates back to as old as 3rd century. It houses various temples like the Jagannath, Kotilingeswara Mahadev and the Taleju Temple. belonging to the 15th century. You can see various other structures here inspired from the Newari architectural style. A massive earthquake in 2015 hit this area, which is still clearly evident in these structures.
Next, visit the Pashupatinath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva (God of Destruction). It is the oldest Hindu Temple of Kathmandu. Also visit Patan. Patan or Lalitpur, (“Yala” as it is known by its inhabitants, the Newars) is one of the three great cities of the Kathmandu Valley, which is the historical center and cultural heart of Nepal. Located 5 km south of Kathmandu valley on the southern side of the Baghmati River is one of the three main cities in Kathmandu Valley. The city is believed to be the first settlement in the Valley and was established by the Kirat dynasty who ruled for more than 1200 years from the 3rd century BC. Patan is famous for its amazing collection of fantastically carved temples, palace courtyards, water spouts, public baths and houses with their equally elaborate wood, stone and metal carvings under the patronages of the Kirat, Lichivi and Malla kings. Patan has more than a 1000 temples and monuments dedicated to the uniquely Nepali mix of Buddhist and Hindu gods, chief among which are the mounds erected by the great Indian Emperor Asoka in the four corners of the city when he visited Nepal in 250 BC. Patan Durbar square is one of the seven Monument Zones that make up the Kathmandu Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Bhadgaon, also known as Bhaktapur is an old city which was probably founded in the ninth century. This city is extraordinarily beautiful because of its ancient architecture of pagoda style copper roofs on wooden and mud- brick buildings. An authentic representation of the Nepali culture Bhaktapur is said to look like what Kathmandu was before centuries ago before the arrival of the modern era. One can observe local artisans shaping pottery and tour the Durbar Square and its Golden Gate and Palace of 55 Windows.
Later proceed to Nagarkot to see the panoramic view of Himalayas during sunset. Come back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, proceed with a drive to Chitwan (Approx. 1,360 ft). On arrival, check-in at the hotel.
Arrive at Machan Country Villa via Narayan Ghat Bridge which is 43 Kms. from the main East- Westhighway towards Danda, Kawasoti. Upon arrival there will be a short briefing on the program and our facilities and the rooms will be assigned. Lunch at the dining hall
Visit to the Village: The village is dominant of Tharu Community. Tharu one of the popular and respected indigenous group of Nepal rich in their typical culture and typical lifestyle. Our naturalist will brief you about the social and cultural aspect of the villagers and their lifestyle. Crafty locals: Villagers will show you their skills in craftsmanship, where they will exhibit traditional handicrafts used in their daily lives. Slide presentation. One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Bird Watching/Nature Walk: Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee then proceed for Bird watching/Nature walk. Out of 519 species of the birds we have recorded 276 species in our area. Hence, the area around Machan Country Villa is considered a Paradise for bird watchers. Our guides will help you to identify some of the species of these birds. Lunch at the dining hall
Jeep Safari: Drive to Lamachaur for the entry inside the forest and start a jungle drive. (Optional: At some point During Jeep drive, our guide will stop jeep drive and take you a short walk inside the jungle.) (Jungle walk is one the adventurous and entertaining activity of Chitwan. One can walk through dense forest around the natural habitat of the wild animals during the jungle walk).
Boating: (subject to weather conditions & water level in the river): Start boating in a traditional patela boat for about 45 minutes which takes you on a silent trip down the Narayani River to view aquatic birds, crocodiles, Gharials and the animals of the river banks.
Sundowner Experience: After the enchanting boat ride you will be welcomed on the banks of Narayani River where refreshment are offered. Sip back and relax while the sun sets and the tranquil of the jungle relaxes you. Add on: make your sundowner experience more exclusive with a glass of wine and cheese along with light snacks. The setting will be upgraded with lounging chairs and canopy tent at the river bank.Tharu Cultural dance (minimum 4 pax required): Farmers of the nearby villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances.

After breakfast, drive to Pokhara (Approx. 5,710 ft). Pokhara also called the city of Lakes, is the 2nd largest city of Nepal. On arrival, check-in at the hotel.

After breakfast, your Pokhara sightseeing tour begins with early morning visit to the Sarangkot (if the weather permits) to soak in the captivating sunrise views over the Annapurna Mountain ranges. Return to the hotel and settle in for breakfast. Visit the World Peace Pagoda (Approx 3,600 ft) is a Pagoda style monument that symbolizes World Peace & Order. Located atop the Anandi hills in the Kaski district of Pokhara, it was built under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii (founder of Nipponzan Myohiji). Visit the Devi’s Fall (Patale Chango) whose water mysteriously vanishes underground and traverses through the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave and underground tunnels. Close to the falls is a popular wishing well where you can toss a coin and make a wish. Head to the 16 th century Gupteshwor Mahadev Caves (4,245 ft) that consists of a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva that preserves a huge Shiva lingam made of stalagmite. Later, drive to the Tal Bahari Temple - a double storeyed Pagoda-style Hindu Temple dedicated to Goddess Durga, located along the Phewa Lake. Enjoy a boat ride at the Phewa Lake.
Visit the Bindyabasini Temple (3,000 ft) dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati (form of Goddess Parvati). It is a common
sacred site for Hindus and Buddhist monks and is a temple of great cultural value among the people of Nepal. In
the evening, walk through the Pokhara’s Purano Bazaar that displays a string of red brick houses representing
Newar architecture and enjoy the typical Nepal ambiance.
